Hoodies and knits vary a lot in weight and cut from one listing to the next, and the same design often shows up from several sellers at different ¥ prices.

• Compare the listing photos against the seller’s own measurement chart rather than your usual size label.
• Look for whether the listing states fleece weight or fabric blend — many do not, and that detail cannot be assumed.
• Check that the colour looks consistent across the images; listing photos are often shot under different lighting.
